The eDiscoveryJournal, the only working analyst firm focused exclusively on eDiscovery and information governance, will be holding an eDiscovery Bootcamp in the Houston area on April 16, 2013. This CLE accredited course will feature in-depth education around the topic of Legal Hold. During this program, eDJ Analysts will deliver research-based education in three hour-long modules, each supplemented by one to two attorneys from the Houston area.

Limited to 70 delegates including law firm and corporate attorneys and their litigation support counterparts, the eDJ Group Bootcamp Houston is designed to give attendees pragmatic advice about how to address the issues that come up frequently in their jobs.

*Tickets for this program are complimentary for law firm attorneys, corporate counsel and their litigation support teams. Please, no eDiscovery Vendor or Consulting Firm personnel unless sponsoring. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, please contact marilyn@edjgroupinc.com.

Course Description

Legal hold is often carried out with ad hoc, manual methods that increase risk, stress levels, and valuable time and money spent managing unsustainable procedures.  In this boot camp we will break down legal hold processes into digestible chunks and examine the benefits and challenges of each from a real-world perspective; participants will learn how to establish achievable, defensible and repeatable legal hold processes without busting the budget.

The program format is interactive.  Attendees will form teams, which will consist of at least one member from each of the following groups:  law firm attorney/support; corporate attorney/support; and service provider representative.  Each module will include a discussion led by eDJ Analysts and speakers, as well as an individual team exercise.

Speakers:

Mikki Tomlinson, Managing Director, eDiscoveryJournal
